2022 Billboard Latin Music show is on air, Christina Aguilera tops the charts

After a heavy wait, 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards has begun. 

Award show took place on Thursday, September 29 in Miami. At the banquet event, this began with Latin superstars strutting down the red carpet before entering the Watsco Center.

The 29th annual Billboard Latin Music Awards are being live streamed on Telemundo, concurrently running on the Spanish-language cable network Universo, and on Telemundo Internacional throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

In this award show, there are total 58 prizes categories that will be awarded to the candidates that include Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm, and regional Mexican music. The occasion has been the only award show that recognizes the top Latin music albums, songs, and artists according to Billboard’s weekly charts.

The lady, Christina Aguilera sang “La Reina,” a ranchera song, at the 2022 Billboard Latin Music show. Everyone was stunned by the chart-topping performer, who finished with a cheering crowd. Her album is being nomine for the Latin Grammy. 

After the concert, Aguilera was presented with the Spirit of Hope Award by her bandmates Ozuna and Becky G. In her speech, that she gave in both English and Spanish language, Aguilera remarked that she embraced the honour “humbly, with appreciation and pride.” 

She gave a thanksgiving speech, “It’s wonderful to have been in an area where customers can pronounce my statement clearly and elegantly. Thank you thanks for this great honor, Billboard. I am really grateful to my Sony team; you fellas are fantastic”. 

In order to assist individuals wounded and afflicted by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian, Aguilera also urged attendance and spectators to donate to the Red Cross. “When I entered the profession, I told myself I’d utilize my platform for what greater to affect change,” she remarked in an impassioned address. Helping others required that I tell my tale. To develop all through the decades alongside my supporters matters so much more to me.

The Billboard Latin Music Week, start from 26 September till 1 October at Miami featured a star-studded speaker lineup these include Romeo Santos, Maluma, Grupo Firme, Chayanne, Ivy Queen, and Nicky Jam, among several others, also coincides with both the accolades presented by MBS Special Events and executive produced by Mary Black Suarez.
