Kennedy Garcia is an Actress, Model, and Influencer. She has overcome many obstacles in her life, but is living proof that nothing can hold you back if you want it bad enough. Recently I interviewed Kennedy on how she started in the industry as well as where she wants to go!
Tell us how you got started in the industry. Have you always wanted to be an actress?
I started in 5th grade with my first job with American Girl. I had so much fun on set and knew that was what I wanted to do forever! I haven’t stopped since!
You moved from Colorado to Los Angeles. What do you miss about Colorado? What do you love about Los Angeles?
I mostly miss my friends from Colorado. I have so many great friends there, but I get to go back and see them every now and then and talk to them on social media. I love LA because it’s closer to my jobs, my boyfriend, my new friends and the beach!
Not only are you an actress but also a model that has walked the runways of New York during Fashion Week. Tell us what that was like!
New York Fashion Week was a dream! I got to walk for some really cool designers and alongside other amazing models. It was crazy at times, but I would love to do it again one day!
What do you love about acting?
Acting is my favorite. I love becoming another character and learning lines and being able to act a way I usually don’t act. Sometimes I even get to say bad words which I don’t say in real life which is fun! Ha-ha
What do you love about modeling?
I love getting to meet designers and wear fun clothing. I love anytime I can be in front of a camera and just be who I am. It makes me happy.
You have done TikTok dances with a lot of different celebrities. What has been your favorite celebrity collab so far?
Oh gosh! That’s a hard question! There have been so many fun ones! I think JAX has been my favorite so far just because we spent the whole day together and created so many cool things! Second would have to be Meghan Trainor. I’ve loved her for so long and dancing with her was amazing!
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I love to sleep! If I have to be on set at 5am, I’ll be there, but if I have nowhere to be, I’m sleeping until noon! Ha-ha
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully on my own show or in a really cool movie!
