What drew you into the entertainment business?

I was drawn into the entertainment business because of my parents. They are both entertainers – my mom is an event producer and my dad a professional mascot – so I was exposed to performing at a young age.  I danced, was a competitive cheerleader and then found the stage through community theatre. Eventually I progressed into television and film, but still try and participate in theatre whenever I can.

What do you love the most about acting?

I love the concept of really letting yourself go creatively and, in all honesty, letting yourself play. I really enjoy listening to experienced actors talk about the energy that is created with a good scene partner and how they creatively work together. I cannot wait to experience that on a larger project soon.

How do you balance school with your acting work?

I was lucky enough not to have to balance school with acting in a traditional fashion as I was homeschooled and finished my undergraduate education at 16. This gave me the opportunity to dive head-first into the craft and really helped me learn the fundamentals of acting. It was around this same time that I decided to move to LA when I turned 18, so I have been working and saving for my move ever since.

Tell us something people would be surprised to learn about you.

I think people would be surprised to learn that I am an avid reader and I am consistently trying to find books that genuinely help me learn something new – whether it be about myself, history, or any other topic that fascinates me.

What are your goals for the remainder of 2024?

My goal for the remainder of 2024 is simple – to get settled in Los Angeles as I am moving there in October in order to secure more acting opportunities.

Any upcoming projects you can share?

I am excited for the Fall premiere of my independent film, SUGARCANE. The world premiere screening is September 22  in Atlanta and an announcement is coming soon about where you will be able stream it.
