The Grammy Award winner celebrated his 24th birthday this Monday. He is totally in party mood while he starts his birthday celebration at Miami’s LIV Nightclub, where he partied with The Weeknd during the latter’s surprise appearance, according to a source.
The insider said that “Shawn was in excellent spirits and he looked incredibly delighted to be there, relaxed and simply enjoying the surroundings.”
In addition, Mendes was pictured hitting the beach donning a pair of red swim trunks while flaunting his muscles. He posted pictures of himself and buddies relaxing in the sunshine upon that deck of a yacht on his Instagram account.
After rescheduling the last tour, the Wonder singer just halted his next global tours in order to take some time for him and concentrate on his mental health.
In a statement, he announced to his admirers, “It has become increasingly evident that I need to take the time I have never taken personally, so this time to ground myself and come back stronger I need some vacations.”
He said in teary eyes, “Sadly, I have to cancel the remaining North American and UK/European tour dates.”
“Will surely come up with the other dates once I had taken some much-needed time off, but for now I had to put my health first”, he asserted.
He said further, “This really doesn’t imply I won’t continue to create music, and I’m looking forward to performing for you again in the future”.
Shawn is a very sensitive and kind man adding that Mendes is “receiving therapy” for his mental health.
He adds, in a mournful tone, “The next three weeks of concerts through Uncasville, Connecticut will have to be postponed until further notice.”
“The time I indulged into travelling and tours when I was 15, I have to admit that it has been heart wrenching to be apart from my family and friends”.
“After speaking with my team and medical professionals, I must take some time to recuperate and maintain control of my physical and mental well-being. In the event of any additional changes, I’ll let you know right away, My love is constant for you, “he said.
