The wait is over, our most-wanted character Mario is back with something new for its viewers. The latest Super Mario Bros movie teaser features a fictional duel between Chris Pratt and Jack Black.

On Thursday, fans glanced at the first teaser of the brand-new animated movie about renowned mustachioed Italian plumbers.

The wicked Bowser character played by the famous Black is shown assaulting the Ice Kingdom in the teaser trailer, which was unveiled during the Nintendo Direct video presentation.

Before he takes over a Mario star power-up, a hallmark of the games franchise, the fiery turtle-like creature and his army of Koopa Troopas are greeted with snowball resistance from an army of adorable penguin soldiers.

In another scene, Mario, played by Pratt, discovers himself in an odd mushroom realm.

Charlie Day plays Luigi in the movie, Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach, Seth Rogen plays Donkey Kong, and Keegan-Michael Key plays Toad.

The Super Mario Bros. movie was initially scheduled to be released in December 2022 when it was first announced in September 2021, however due to some reasons the movie launch has been postponed to April 2023. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been floating around in cyberspace for a while, but it has recently begun to gain momentum as it heads down Rainbow Road toward an official launch.

Chris Pratt will play everybody’s beloved Italian plumber in the movie, which was first announced in the “before times” of 2018 if that seems a contradiction in terms, then, well, folks have definitely seemed to have some words to discuss over the choice.

Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who are most known for their work with Cartoon Network, will helm the animated film, which is a joint effort between Nintendo and Illumination, the studio responsible for the Minions’ wildly and unexpectedly successful run on television. The Super Mario Bros. Movie should therefore at the very least be a colourful adventure.

We honestly do not know this, though. There are several different directions this latest adaptation might take when there are already more than 200 video games and a few unsuccessful movie efforts to take some inspiration from.
